I am Nanda Kishore - a 66-year-old Chartered Accountant. I lead a balanced lifestyle, maintaining a structured routine focused on client consultations while enjoying hobbies like reading and following financial trends. I value family time, participating in community events, and staying active with regular exercise, fostering professional success and personal fulfilment
My Story
I became a member of Pro Care Galen in May 2015, driven by a desire to improve my health, which I rated a mere 3 out of 10 at the time. Before joining, I faced significant health challenges. As a diabetic, my blood test parameters often fell outside the recommended ranges. Additionally, a meniscus tear in my right leg made walking painful, forcing me to wear a kneecap and avoid stairs.

Having no prior experience with exercise or fitness programs, I stepped into Pro Care Galen with a blank slate. My journey began with a variety of strength and conditioning exercises, including weightlifting, resistance training, and flexibility routines. I engaged in a comprehensive workout regimen that included squats, deadlifts, calf raises, and more, attending sessions three times a week on alternate days.

Under the guidance of trainers Jeeth and Gautham, my workouts quickly evolved in intensity. They encouraged me to progressively challenge myself, leading to immense physical improvements. Today, I feel a significant difference in my overall health; I have more energy for both work and personal activities.

The changes in my physical health have been remarkable. My strength, flexibility, and endurance have improved drastically. The once-debilitating meniscus injury no longer hinders me; strength training has fortified the muscles around my knee, allowing me to move freely and without pain. This transformation has made me feel fitter and more agile in my daily life.

Mentally, the impact of my fitness journey has been equally profound. My stress levels have decreased, and I find it easier to remember daily tasks. The regimen has not only boosted my mood but also enhanced my cognitive function. I wake up excited for my workouts, motivated to start the day, and energized to tackle my responsibilities at work. My productivity has soared, and I even make time for reading to further my knowledge.

Before my injury, I was a vibrant and active individual, working out regularly and playing racket sports almost every day. Everything changed when I dislocated my shoulder while playing cricket.
